| South Central Lake and Lewis & Clark Assessments | ||
The Douglas County
Conservation District has supported the South Central Lake Assessment
and the Lewis & Clark Watershed Assessment. Currently will be working
with the Resource management personnel assigned to this area in the
South Central Lake Assessment to help producers in this area improve
land use management where needed and in turn these practices will help
implement water quality improvements. The Douglas County Conservation District would like to help producers with successful and improved practices to help in land management and water quality. Resources are very limited here for the producers in this county and cost share would help the producer implement the practices and in turn reduce the impaired impacts on water sources in this area and other tributaries it may lead to. |
