Fecal Sampling

• Fecal samples are used to predict animal performance.

• Fecal Samples are taken every two weeks.

• Fecal Samples are tested for 4 things:

  • Percent Crude Protein (% CP)
  • Percent Digestible Organic Matter (% DOM)
  • Percent Nitrogen (% N)
  • Percent Phosphorus (% P)
