Nominations Sought: Candidates for State Conservation Commission

Deadline: September 1, 2024, to the SDACD office

The South Dakota Association of Conservation Districts is now accepting nominations of candidates to the South Dakota Conservation Commission to fill the three-year positions of Area 1 and Area 2 conservation district supervisor member. In accordance with South Dakota Codified Law 38-7-4, a slate of three nominations for each position must be selected at the Association’s business session this fall and then presented to the Governor. Conservation district supervisor members shall be, or shall have been, supervisors of conservation districts.
