You may have heard of conservation districts, but what exactly do they do?
Each conservation district is run by local supervisors, elected by their community, who decide where conservation efforts are needed most. Working with local residents, landowners, producers, and conservation partners, districts help connect people with the resources, expertise, and partnerships needed to address conservation challenges close to home.
